Project Location: Peer Gate to Itwara Gate, Bhopal, India

Project Overview: The revitalization of the Old Bhopal Chowk Bazaar Area is an urban design project aimed at transforming the historic heart of Bhopal into a vibrant, pedestrian-friendly, and culturally rich district. This project seeks to preserve the area's rich heritage while creating a modern urban environment that caters to the needs of both residents and visitors. The project will span from Peer Gate to Itwara Gate, covering a significant portion of the Old Bhopal Chowk Bazaar.

Project Objectives:

  1. Preservation of Heritage: Ensure the preservation and restoration of historically significant buildings, structures, and cultural elements within the project area, while maintaining their architectural integrity.

  2. Improved Mobility: Enhance pedestrian and non-motorized transportation infrastructure to create a walkable district, reducing vehicular congestion and promoting sustainable transportation.
